Digital Reader will have new entry this year. Sharp is now said to prepare two types of color touchscreen eBook Reader. Sharp eBook Reader being prepared is said able to support multimedia device for watching videos and listening to some audio files.
The other type of sharp eBook Reader is still a prototyple, and scheduled to be launched near the end of 2010. One of the two will have a 5.5 inch screen and the other one is 10.8-inch screen. As written on Good eReader website, Sharp prepares its eBook Reader with distribution service too.
As written on the Good eReader website yesterday, Sharp eBook Reader will use the XMDF file format. XMDF file format is very common and widely used in Japan for its ability to bridge the gap between the text format and video content.
Masami Obatake, senior executive of Sharp stated that the newest XMDF format allows users to see digital content like video and audio more easily. XMDF has an automatic adjustment for the layout which match the needs of publishers. Obatake added that the e-publishing business is very attentive these days.
Sharp eBook Reader and Sharp Distribution service is approximately to be launched later this year.

Sony will soon unveil it’s new touchscreen desktop. The desktop will be named with Sony Vaio L series ( L stands for Lovely), in 24inch 1080p features. Sony L series will be made in two types, VPC-L11M1E/S and the higher-spec : VPC-L11S1E/S . Sony Vaio L series will use Intel Core 2 Duo Processor which can run at up to 3GHz (4GB of RAM).

To be used for TV screen, Sony Vaio L series is supported with an optional Blu-ray drive, speedy 802.11n Wi-Fi and HDMI input. The hard drive capacity is 500GB.
Sony Vaio L series will be launched in October 22nd. It is the same day as windows 7 launching.
