CES 2011 – Samsung has stated to rival iPod Touch in the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which will be held in early January 2011. The Multimedia Player device is scheduled to be lauched to market after the presence of Samsung Galaxy S. Samsung Galaxy Player will bring Android 2.2 Froyo OS, but minus the phone function or messaging service.
Similar to the newest generation of iPod Touch, Samsung Galaxy Player will feature 8GB, 16Gb or 32GB memory capacity, and also armed with front and rear cameras. Samsung Galaxy Player is going to be on display at CES January 6th. Unfortunately no price tagging on the gadge.

Apple iPhone 4G has been publicized, now Apple is reportedly focus on creating a new generation iPod Touch. Rumor circulated that the new iPod Touch will be equipped with 5 MPx camera and various new features.
The rumor was first exhaled by John Lewis, one of the largest retailers in the UK. In the leak, the John Lewis said that the 5 MPx camera on the new iPod Touch will have flashflight and able to take 720p HD video. Also perhaps the most awaited feature is the presence of FaceTime, a video conversation feature belongs to iPhone 4 which utilizes the Wi-Fi network. Which means iPod Touch also has a camera in the front.
Jeff Gamet, Mac watchers said the presence of the rumors around the new iPod Touch, had been known before. The user interface of the products will be changed, so did the cameras and improvement of other features. “So it’s not a surprise if you see that tradition carried the product,” said Jeff Gamet, quoted from Tg Daily, Friday (9/7/2010).
